Our approach

Preparation plus access.

Many employability programmes teach useful skills but stop before young people meet a real employer. Next Move is built around both: the skills, and the chance to use them.

We can’t guarantee jobs, apprenticeships or a placement for every participant. What we do promise is preparation, real contact with employers and a clear next step.

What to expect

  • Small cohorts of 10–15 young people
  • Employer contributors for mock interviews, visits and career encounters
  • A CV, application and interview practice that’s yours to keep
  • A concrete next action for every participant
  • Follow-up at 1, 3 and 6 months

What changes

What young people leave with.

Career clarity

Realistic roles and routes that fit their interests and strengths.

Job-search readiness

A strong CV and the ability to complete a tailored application.

Interview confidence

Practice answering common questions and improving after feedback.

Employer exposure

Meaningful contact with employers and workplaces.

Progression

Applying for or moving into work, training, an apprenticeship or further support.
